My pre-ordered copy of the brand new Chevelle cd did not show up in the mail today. I almost did myself in. - Almost.
In brighter news, I picked up three tickets to see the Pixies down in Boca Raton, Fl on October 9th. I was talking to preachy preach about kissy kiss. He bought me a soda, he bought me a soda; then tried to molest me in the parking lot.
Newest Stavesacre song equals really good rock. http://www.purevolume.com/stavesacre/
And today I found out that Denison Marrs originates out of Orlando. So you're telling me they've been in my backyard for four years and I haven't even tried to look for them. - Yeah basically.

Yeah, so another month has almost passed.
I apologize for the brevity and infrequent / lack of posts. School and work and friendships have totally overrun my life and eaten all my time. Even now I know I should be studying... but... what can I say... "that you can't say better."
I'm excited because cold weather seems to be the recent trend. I love winter / the bitter florida chill. Seriously. I'm trying to work out an exciting spring break gettaway to Colorado or quite possibly Canada. Craziness will ensue.
Quite recently the only thing in my cd player has been Kill Hannah. Which if you don't know are a great electronic rock band outta Chicago. Hmm... Chicago... Local H... Smashing Pumpkins... Chevelle... if you get my drift. Also I'd like to send a shoutout to Ben Folds who lately cures any bits of depression, Anberlin for being so... catchy... Switchfoot also... Daniel Miller Band for being so... American-esque... Christian Porn Machine... so popstar boyband, I mean rock enthused anticorporate.
Whatever... I need to freaking take my camera out more and take some pictures. I was down in Old Winter Park two weeks ago with my Emily and I wish I had brought my camera. It was so... memorable?
I saw the Life of David Gale recently... that was excellent. Kevin Spacey goes down in my book again. Could I say that I am a fan... yes, I guess I could.
I've been slacking on the guitar playing as well... but when I do pick it up I manage to hammer out a pretty catchy riff or progression or whatever. Which is cool... well for me it is.
I have to register for classes for the Spring semester next week. I can't believe I actually have a track that I can follow. I met with an advisor for my major... and its this professor that I have who is really cool, and I basically decided to do a Legal studies minor because it will fill in for some blank spaces in my upcoming years and gives me some credit for a potential law school. Hopefully.
I really want to go snowboarding. I really really do.

So much has happened in the last two months or so. I figured I might as well update this a bit.
I've seen a few concerts, including Chevelle and Juliana Theory; Yellowcard is playing next week. I got a new guitar and amp. I'm finally going electric baby oh yeah. Test after test and I'm still afloat. Seen more movies than I'd care to know I spent the money on, but a few were actually good, including School of Rock and Cold Creek Manor. Looking forward to Kill Bill, the Matrix Reloaded DVD, the Matrix Revolution, Resident Evil 2, Gothika, The Punisher and others. Stavesacre will be releasing a new cd hopefully by year's end. I think there's a rumor going around about CPM's full release... but I think I'm saying more than I know. Look for CPM in Orlando coming February. Listening to Anberlin. Writing music like crazy... please ask for a sample... anybody need a guitar player? Did I mention tomorrow is my year anniv. of dating Emily? Craziness I know. Gravattville is up and happening.
My lil brother, Grant, came up last weekend and we surfed everyday. We had an awesome time. We saw underworld, which was cool. Emily hung out with us the whole time too, which was great because we like her (and she surfed with us like crazy everyday also). I've been playing playstation like crazy, because I splurged and just bought one. I'm downloading the new Foo Fighters video Low, which was supposedly banned from MTV (aka The Man).
